Lavrov: Russia, Slovenia may boost trade despite sanctions

MOSCOW, June 14. /TASS/. Russia and Slovenia have a chance to overcome the negative trend in trade and boost it even in current conditions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday at the meeting with Slovenia’s counterpart Karl Erjavec.

"We attach great importance to the work of intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in conditions when all the sides have mutual wish and possibilities to overcome negative trend in trade turnover," Lavrov said.

"External environment influences exchanges, but the potential of cooperation is such that the volume can be increased also in current conditions," Russia’s top diplomat added.
