PM: Russia to cope with any problems, outside pressure

Dmitry Medvedev called for consolidated work, which he believes should yield good results, namely, "higher living standards of Russian citizens."

GORKI, June 10. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has voiced the conviction that Russia will cope with any problems and external pressure.

"There are difficulties and problems, there are also decisions that we will have to take. However, our country is very strong in this respect, with very powerful centuries-old traditions," he said at a ceremony of presenting state awards.

He noted that he is confident that "no matter how difficult it is, whatever pressure is exerted on us, we always get out of the situation honorably."
