Crimea to present investment potential at SPIEF first time — official

The republic has prepared a stand presenting the main areas of the regional development, investment projects under implementation and specific features of the free economic zone functioning

SIMFEROPOL, June 9. /TASS/. Crimea will for the first time present its investment potential at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Minister of Economic Development of the region Valentin Demidov told TASS on Thursday.

"The Republic of Crimea is annually participating in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. However, this year is the first time Crimea will take part in the investment projects exhibition," the official said.

The Crimean Ministry of Economic Development prepared a stand presenting the main areas of the regional development, investment projects under implementation and specific features of the free economic zone functioning.

The twentieth St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on June 16-18 on a new site near St. Petersburg. The new economic reality and the search for new growth drivers will be key topics for discussions at the Forum.
