MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. Russia’s Finance Ministry is not considering introduction of the progressive scale of personal income tax at the moment, Deputy Finance Minister Ilya Trunin said Wednesday.
"No, it’s not being considered," he said when asked a respective question.
Earlier Deputy Finance Minister Stanislav Voskresensky spoke in favor of the flat tax rate schedule for personal incomes, saying it should be maintained as any progressive tax scale fundamentally discourages people from working more.
