ASTANA, June 6. /TASS/. Kazakhstan plans to produce 74 mln tonnes of crude oil this year, the country’s energy minister Kanat Bozumbayev said Monday.

"We’re 4% ahead of the current plan," the minister said. According to Bozumbayev, "rising oil prices will allow companied to accelerate drilling operations and exceed this year’s target."
