SKOLKOVO, June 2. /TASS/. Kunshan Nano New Material, a subsidiary of Foxconn Group, will establish a research and development center on the territory of Russia’s Skolkovo innovative center.
The relevant agreement was signed by General Director of Kunshan Nano New Material Lu Hung Tu and head of the cluster of nuclear and new industrial technologies and materials at Skolkovo Igor Karavayev as part of Startup Village.
Kunshan Nano Material specializes in glass manufacturing, polishing and cutting. Its products are used in particular by Apple.
Foxconn Group is the largest contract electronics manufacturer in the world, which carries out orders for the world's leading brands.
"We hope through this collaboration to develop new collaborations with new high-tech leaders, including those from China," Karavayev said.
In addition, as part of Startup Village an agreement between Skolkovo and Tele2 mobile operator signed. That agreement implies introduction of innovations developed by Skolkovo center residents in the network of the operator, as well as joint investment activities.
