ATHENS, May 27. /TASS/. Discount on gas for Belarus is not being considered, price must be determined within the existing contract, Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on Friday.
"Our position is that the contract was signed, which is valid for 2015-2016. The contract includes a formula, which is a part of the current agreement. This contract has not been canceled, the Belarusian side paid according to that contract in 2015 and must pay in 2016," he said.
"It is not being discussed," Novak said, answering a question on whether discount on gas of Belarus on is in the works.
