MOSCOW, May 24. /TASS/. Russian Helicopters (100% owned by Rostec state corporation) is mulling the creation of a chain of regional service centers together with international companies, deputy CEO Igor Chechikov told TASS Tuesday.
"Currently around 40 enterprises all over the global participate in maintenance of our helicopters. Sometimes it is not done in accordance with our requirements so we’re in talks with our partners on creation of regional partner centers," Chechikov said.
The company obtained the right for independent international activity regarding service, repairs and modernization of helicopters, including combat helicopters, in October 2014. It has also announced plans to launch a chain of service centers overseas, particularly in Asia, North Africa and Latin America.
