Tatneft oil company is against Russia’s high-sulfur crude export blend

MOSCOW, May 20. /TASS/. Tatneft is against establishing a new export blend for sour oil, a representative of the Russian oil producer told TASS on Friday.

"Tatneft does not acknowledge its consent to separation of a sour oil stream to a separate blend," the representative said.

The Russian Ministry of Energy told TASS earlier it has no plans to initiate a separate freight flow of high-sulfur oil and it possible only if sulfur content is above 1.8%.
