SOCHI, May 19. /TASS/. Leaders of many ASEAN countries, whom Russian President Vladimir Putin had meetings with on Thursday, mentioned the interestedness of their nations in resuming direct flights to and from Russia, Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"Many countries spoke about their interestedness in the resumption of direct flights," he said upon completion of a chain of bilateral negotiations between Putin and foreign Presidents.
Peskov indicated however that the practical restoration of the air routes depended first and foremost on economic rationality of the step.
