DONAUWORTH, May 13. /TASS/. Airbus Helicopters plans to deliver 160 medical helicopters to Russia in the coming 10 years, Vice President of Airbus Helicopters and H135 Program Director Axel Humpert said on Thursday.
Humpert said the company assesses the market of medical helicopters will be 160 helicopters in 10 years. According to estimates, 20 medical helicopters are currently in service in Russia, he added.
Russia’s Emercom, Sogaz insurer, regional healthcare ministries and health departments, Russian Railways and Gazprom Avia are among potential customers, the helicopter manufacturer said. Negotiations with these companies are planned to be held during the Helirussia exhibition to take place in Moscow late in May.
