CHELYABINSK, April 25. /TASS/. Italian companies are interested in developing cooperation with Russia, despite the current economic crisis, moreover, they are interested in participating in Russia’s privatization, Italian Ambassador to Russia Cesare Ragaglini said on Monday.
The Italian diplomat took part in the ceremony of launching the production of oil pumps at a Transneft enterprise.
"Italian companies have always been demonstrating big interest to Russia and now that we are speaking here they are holding negotiations on investments. They are Italy’s biggest companies," he said. "It means that Italian businesses are confident in Russia, despite the crisis. I hope that some agreements will be reached in the sphere of privatization as well.".
