DOHA, April 17. /TASS/. The meeting of oil-producing countries began in Doha, Russian Energy Ministry said on Sunday.
"The meeting of oil-producing countries begins in Doha, Qatar," the Ministry said in its Twitter blog.
A source close to the negotiations told TASS that all countries, whose representatives arrived in Doha, are participating in the official meeting on a possible freezing of oil production level.
At the same time, the source that representatives of only four countries attended the meeting with the Emir of Qatar.
The meeting was initially supposed to start at 8:45, but then was moved to 15:00, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev told journalists.
Oil producers, both members and non-members of OPEC, have come to Doha for talks aimed at stabilizing oil prices.
