Ukraine's Poroshenko declares 2015 revenues of $2.4 mln

KIEV, April 1. /TASS/. Revenues of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in 2015 amounted to 62.163 mln hryvnia ($2.371 mln at the current exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine), according to the tax declaration of the head of state, published On Friday on the president’s website.

According to the document, the figure includes the president’s salary - 121,054 hryvnia ($4,617), dividends - 12.375 mln hryvnia (about $472,000), other income - 49.665 mln hryvnia ($1.894 mln).

The president’s revenues for the article "alienation of securities and corporate rights" amounted to only 1,000 hryvnia ($38.1).

Poroshenko declared 6 plots of land with a total area of ··54,364 sq. m, a house of ··1,331.7 sq. m, as well as three apartments - 134.06 sq. m, 82.15 sq. m and 68.2 sq. m. At the same time, the addresses of lots, as well as houses and apartments were deliberately blurred out in the declaration.

According to the document, Poroshenko registered three cars, two of which are leased, as well as 1 watercraft with a 3,000cc engine.

Poroshenko has 563.73 mln hryvnia ($21.5 mln) on his bank accounts, the declaration said. It includes real estate, vehicles and income of his family members.

It was reported earlier that Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko ranked sixth on the list of 100 richest people in Ukraine with his fortune estimated at $858 mln, according to the Forbes Ukraine magazine.

Over the past year Poroshenko’s fortune has grown by $100 mln, which allowed him to move up from the eighth place to the sixth place, the magazine said.
