Naftogaz of Ukraine does not plan to buy Russian gas from April 1

The gas price offered for the second quarter of 2016 is higher than the price European suppliers offer to Naftogaz, the company explains

KIEV, March 31. /TASS/. Naftogaz of Ukraine not plan to buy Russian gas from April 1, the company’s press service said on Thursday.

"Naftogaz of Ukraine has no plans to resume the purchase of gas from Gazprom on April 1, 2016, since the gas price offered for the second quarter of 2016 is higher than the price European suppliers offer to Naftogaz," the company said.
