MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia’s major air carrier Aeroflot has provisionally suspended fl;ights to Kazakhstan as the country had failed to provide permission documentation for summer schedule flights, effective on March 27, the airline said in a statement on Saturday.
"Aeroflot has not received corresponding permission papers despite the fact that the company was designated as an airline (operating flights) from Russia to Kazakhstan and applied for operating these flights back on 12 February 2016," the statement said.
In the season Summer-2016 between 27 March and 29 October, Aeroflot was supposed to operate regular flights from Moscow to seven airports in Kazakhstan: Aktau, Aktobe, Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Karaganda and Shymkent.
