Sberbank shares hit new record, exceed 2007 highs

The shares rose by 1.9% to 114.19 rubles per share

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Ordinary shares of Russia’s top lender Sberbank rose by 1.9% to 114.19 rubles per share on Tuesday, hitting a new record level and exceeding the July 2007 high of 113.05 rubles.

The MICEX index was up 0.5% to 1914.06 points, the RTS added 0.64% to 889.23 points.

The cost of the futures contracts of Brent crude oil for May delivery on London's ICE trading was up by 0.02% to $41.55 per barrel as of 10:35 Moscow time.
