MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. Russia’s economic turmoil is of long-term nature, the country’s finance minister Anton Siluanov said Wednesday, adding that a long economic conversion is ahead.
"The situation is long-term in nature. We don’t expect the kind of rebounds from the viewpoint of improved pay balance that we used to have in the past, that’s why we’re getting prepared to working amid current circumstances for a long period of time," Siluanov said, adding that the present situation differs a lot from the crises of 1998 and 2008-2009.
