MOSCOW, February 16. /TASS/. Gazprom chairman of management committee Alexey Miller has been reelected for a new 5-year period, the company reported on Tuesday.

"The board of directors has considered the issue of election of Gazprom chairman of management committee and unanimously elected Alexey B. Miller as chairman starting from May 31, 2016 for a period of 5 years," the report said.

Thus, Miller's contract has been extended till May 2021.

On March 22, 2011 Gazprom board of directors reelected Alexey Miller as chairman from May 31, 2011 for 5 years.
