At the same time, the dollar fell by by 97 kopecks to 75.98 rubles.
The ruble strengthens following the recovery in oil prices after the reports about Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak meeting with Saudi Arabian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi in Doha on Tuesday. The ministers are going to discuss the situation in the oil market.
Tuesday morning the price of Brent crude oil soared by 5% to $35.02 per barrel.
