Brent crude oil price falls below $31 per barrel

Dollar exceeded 79 rubles, euro rose by 1.55 rubles to 85.79 rubles

MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. The dollar rate against the ruble rose by 1.12 rubles from the previous closure to 79.14 rubles per dollar on the Moscow Exchange, exceeding the mark of 79 rubles.

The euro rose by 1.55 rubles to 85.79 rubles.

Earlier on Monday, the dollar rate fell by 1.63 rubles to 76.39 rubles, the euro rate fell by 2.02 rubles to 82.22 rubles.

The ruble began to fall in value following oil price that lost half of its Friday growth.

The price of futures contract of Brent crude with the delivery in March 2016 on the ICE exchange in London fell by 4.2% to $30.8 per barrel. In the course of the trading on January 22 the price of Brent crude exceeded $32 per barrel.
