KIEV, January 14. /TASS/. Ukraine requested Slovakia to almost double daily gas import for January 14 and 15, Ukraine’s gas transport operator Ukrtransgaz said on Thursday.
Ukraine submitted the gas import application amounting to nearly 27 mln cubic meters, Ukrtransgaz said. Ukraine’s actual import on January 13 was 11.4 mln cubic meters.
According to Ukrainian gas transport system operator’s data, Ukraine imported 10.3 bln cubic meters of natural gas from Europe (Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland) and 6.1 bln cubic meters of gas from Russia in 2015.
