MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. Russia’s nuclear fuel producer TVEL will supply nuclear fuel for the Maria research centrum in Poland, the company said in a press release.
Winning the tender for the supply of fuel to the Maria research reactor means the return of the Russian company to the Polish market after seven years. The contract was approved by the European Atomic Energy Community (ESA) and entered into legal force, according to the press release.
In accordance with contractual obligations TVEL will supply a new type of fuel with low-enriched uranium developed by Russian researchers to the National Center for Nuclear Research.
