MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. The Russian-Turkish forum due this December has been canceled, the head of Russia’s federal government agency Rossotrudnichestvo said on Thursday.
"I am the co-chair of the Russian-Turkish forum," Lyubov Glebova said. "Public formats usually come after the meetings of the heads of states, and such a forum was scheduled for December."
The forum could be held after such a meeting takes place, she said. "However, this does not mean that we are scaling down or reducing the Russian-Turkish relations."
The official stressed that the political environment is not changing the basis of the Russian-Turkish relations that are "traditionally stable and friendly."
