Russian agricultural watchdog prohibits poultry supplies by Turkish company

Sixteen Turkish companies have the right to supply poultry to Russia, six of them are subjected to temporary restrictions and products of one more supplier is under stronger supervision

MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor banned poultry supplies by a Turkish company in connection with Listeria found in products, the government agency said on Wednesday. Restrictions are introduced against Standart Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, the regulator said.

Products of the above company shipped by December 1 will be subjected to laboratory testing by safety indicators, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
