Volume of prepaid gas will be sufficient for Ukraine through November 23 — Gazprom

MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The volume of gas that was prepaid by Ukraine will be sufficient through November 23, official representative of Russian gas giant Gazprom Sergey Kupriyanov told TASS on Friday.

He said that Gazprom has not received a new prepayment from Naftogaz of Ukraine yet.

"Un to and including Monday, with the current volume of intake - that will be enough. The new prepayment has not been transferred yet," he said.

In late October, Naftogaz finalized settlements Gazprom for the supply of 2 billion cubic meters of gas. In general, the Ukrainian company transferred almost $500 million to Gazprom.

This includes $234 million on October 12, $136 million on October 20 and $64 million in late October.

In the fourth quarter, the price of Russian gas for Ukraine was $227.36 per 1,000 cubic meters.
