MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russian top airline Aeroflot suspends flights to and from Egypt from December 1, 2015 to March 27, 2016, the company’s press service reported on Friday.
"Given the ban by Rosaviatsia (Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency — TASS) on passenger flights to Egypt since November 6, 2015 Aeroflot has been flying passengers solely in one direction — from Egypt to Russia. The plan is to gradually reduce and temporarily suspend flights between Moscow and Egyptian airports till the end of winter schedule (March 27, 2016)," the report said.
Aeroflot suspends flights to and from Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh and Cairo.
The company also recommends passengers who are currently staying in Egypt and have return-tickets for dates after December 1, 2015, to turn to its representative offices for re-ticketing for earlier Aeroflot flights, or to give up the trip and receive transportation cost back.
