Average export price of Russian gas fell 27% in nine months of 2015 — customs service

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. The average export price of Russian natural gas was $238.2 per 1,000 cubic meters and declined nearly 27% year-on-year in January-September 2015, the Federal Customs Service reported on Friday. The average price was $326.5 per 1,000 cubic meters in the similar period of the last year.

Revenues from gas export in nine months of 2015 declined by $12.8 bln to $31.3 bln.

In January-September, the volume of gas exports fell 2.9% to 131.5 billion cubic meters.

Russia’s gas export fell 2.9% year-on-year in January - September 2015 and amounted to 131.5 bln cubic meters.

Export to non-CIS nations rose 5.7% to 104 bln cubic meters. Export to CIS states fell 25.9% to 27.5 bln cubic meters.

Russian oil export drops 43%

The Federal Customs Service reported the export of Russian oil dropped in value terms by nearly 43% year-on-year in in the same period to $69.6 bln.

The actual volume of oil export increased by 8.1% in the reporting period to 180 mln tonnes versus 166.4 mln tonnes a year earlier.

The bulk of oil was exported to non-CIS countries, with the cost of supplies standing at $65.1 bln versus $114.5 bln. Revenues from oil supplies to CIS countries fell to $4.4 bln versus $6.9 bln a year earlier.

Actual export to non-CIS countries reached 162.9 mln tonnes, and 17 mln tonnes of oil - to CIS countries.

Russia’s oil products export down 39.8%

As for revenues from oil products export, the service said it dropped 39.8% year-on-year in January-September 2015 to $53.9 bln.

The physical volume of export was up 6.4% and totaled 130.9 mln tonnes in the reporting period against 123 mln tonnes a year earlier.

Oil products export to non-CIS countries rose 8.2% in value terms on an annualized basis to 124.9 mln tonnes [$51 bln] in January - September 2015. Export to CIS states fell 21.5% year-on-year in value terms to 5.98 mln tonnes [$3 bln] during the reporting period.

Gasoline was exported in the amount of $1.9 bln [3.5 mln tonnes]. Diesel fuel export supplies totaled $20.7 bln [39.1 mln tonnes], Russian customs said.

Russia’s electricity export up 17.1%

Revenues from export of Russia’s electric power in that period increased by 17.1% to $585.6 mln.

The year-on-year volume of electricity exports amounted to 14.143 bln kWh against 9.477 bln kWh last year.

Revenues from electricity exports to non-CIS countries declined by 3.6% year-on-year to $337.4 mln but soared 65% to $248.2 mln in respect of CIS countries.

In physical terms, the electricity export to non-CIS countries amounted to 8.3 bln kWh against 6.8 bln kWh last year, to CIS countries - increased from 2.7 bln kWh to 5.9 bln kWh, the service said.
