Moscow ranks eighth in rating of cities with most expensive skyscraper offices — research

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Moscow ranks eighth in the global rating of cities with the highest rental rates for skyscraper offices, Knight Frank said in the research of global skyscraper office rates for the second quarter of 2015.

Moscow is in the rating with the figure of $850 per square meter in annual terms. Moscow’s position remains unchanged in the rating as compared to the fourth quarter of 2014, despite the 12% decline in rates, the research said.

According to Knight Frank, the offer of offices in commissioned Moscow skyscrapers equals 780,000 square meters. About 160,000 square meters more are at the construction stage.

26% of areas or approximately 200,000 square meters in absolute terms are currently vacant in Moscow office skyscrapers, Knight Frank reported.
