Trade volume between China and Russia down 29% to $50 bln in January-September

BEIJING, October 13. /TASS/. The trade turnover between China and Russia in January-September amounted to $50 bln, which is 29.3% less than in the first three quarters of last year, according to the Chinese General Administration of Customs.

At the same time China's export to Russia amounted to $25.2 bln, which is 36% less than a year ago. Imports from Russia to China declined in the first three quarters by 20.9% compared to the same period last year to $21.8 bln.

Chinese exports to Russia declined in September by 33.8% year-on-year to $3.59 bln, and the imports decreased by 18.5% to $2.64 bln.
