MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The issue of splitting Gazprom is not being discussed, First Deputy Energy Minister Alexey Texler said on Friday.
"There are no such discussions either in the Energy Strategy, or anywhere else," he said.
Deputy Minister did not confirm that the issue may be considered at the Presidential Commission on fuel and energy complex either.
As TASS reported earlier independent gas producers consider it reasonable to unbundle gas transport infrastructure into a separate company, which will help providing transparency of tariff setting for gas transportation.
