Russia’s Gazprom continues supplying natural gas to Donbass

VIENNA, September 11. /TASS/. Russia’s major producer and exporter of natural gas, Gazprom, continues supplies of natural gas to Donbass in the framework of the effective with agreement with Ukraine’s oil and gas monopoly Naftogaz, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told TASS on the eve of bilateral talks in Vienna.

"It’s true, we continue supplies to Donbass and we’re doing this under the agreement with Naftogaz Ukrainy," he said.

As TASS reported earlier, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said in June Russia would continue gas supplies to Donbass.

"The supplies that betgan in February will continue," he said. "They’re included in the overall volume of the contract. These amounts have always been supplied to Ukraine.".
