Dollar and euro on the rise against ruble amid oil price slump

The cost of the futures contracts of Brent crude oil for October delivery on London's ICE trading on Thursday decreased by 0.61% to $47.27 per barrel

MOSCOW, September 10. /TASS/. The dollar exchange rate was up by 34 kopecks to 68.82 rubles at the opening of Thursday trade on the Moscow Stock Exchange.

The euro surged by 54 kopecks to 77.24 rubles.

The ruble is going down amid falling oil prices. The cost of the futures contracts of Brent crude oil for October delivery on London's ICE trading on Thursday decreased by 0.61% to $47.27 per barrel.

The MICEX index was down 0.4% at the opening of trade on the Moscow Stock Exchange on Thursday to 1715.37 points.
