Russian energy minister confirms gas talks with European Commission on Sept. 11

The officials will discuss relations on gas supplies to Ukraine, the energy dialogue and the development of the gas pipeline system

VLADIVOSTOK, September 4. /TASS/. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak has confirmed that a bilateral gas meeting with the European Commission’s vice president in charge of energy, Maros Sefcovic, will be held on September 11.

"We will discuss bilateral relations on gas supplies to Ukraine, energy dialogue and development of the gas pipeline system," Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Russia's Vladivostok.

In late August, Ukrainian Energy Minister Vladimir Demchishin said trilateral talks on natural gas in the Russia-EU-Ukraine format could take place in Vienna on September 11.
