MOSCOW, August 31. /TASS/. Signing of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline agreement is not planned at the East Russia Economic Forum (EREF), press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said on Monday. "As far as I know, this piece of information is contrary to facts. No such signing is planned," Peskov said, adding that the list of energy deals planned to be executed at the EREF has not yet been finalized.

Kommersant newspaper said earlier on Monday referring to sources familiar with the progress in negotiations that Russian gas giant Gazprom may sign a binding shareholders agreement on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline at the East Russia Economic Forum (EREF) in Vladivostok in September.

Nord Stream 2 is the construction project of the natural gas pipeline with the capacity of 55 bln cubic meters from Russia to Germany across the Baltic Sea. The route and the entry point to the German gas transport system in Greifswald are intended to be the same as for the first Nord Stream gas pipeline launched in 2011.
