Putin discussed current state of Russian economy with premier at weekend — Kremlin

The Russian president and premier held a joint training session at the residence near the Black Sea resort city of Sochi, had breakfast and discusssed a range of topical issues

MOSCOW, August 31. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the current state of the domestic economy with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the weekend, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"The premier and the president communicated quite a lot at the weekend and discussed a really wide range of issues and, naturally, the current state of the economy," the Kremlin spokesman said.

The Russian president and premier earlier held a joint training session at the Bocharov Ruchei residence near the Black Sea resort city of Sochi and also held a joint breakfast and discusssed a range of topical issues.

Putin and Medvedev watched the combat sambo competition in Sochi on Saturday.
