MOSCOW, August 25. /TASS/. Gazprom’s reform is needed to ensure equal access to the gas transport system, Rosneft’s press secretary Mikhail Leontyev said on Tuesday.

There will be no questions if Gazprom provides equal access, he said.

"However, it [Gazprom - TASS] regards the gas transport system as its advantage but we view it as a monopoly," Leontyev said.

Gazprom is ready to offer purchasing gas at domestic prices to independent producers "and then resell it for export," he added.

"We believe this is unfair," Rosneft’s press secretary said.

TASS reported earlier Rosneft is seeking access to Sakhalin gas transport system and to the Power of Siberia gas transport system.
