Hungary does not resume reverse gas supplies to Ukraine

Despite requests for transportation of 1.900 cubic meters of gas per day, on August 11 and 12 virtually gas was not supplied, Hungarian gas transportation operator FGSZ says

MOSCOW, August 14. /TASS/. Hungary has not resumed reverse gas supplies to Ukraine despite statements made earlier about its readiness to supply gas to Ukraine’s state gas company Naftogaz, according to the data provided by Hungarian gas transportation operator FGSZ.

Despite requests for transportation of 1.900 cubic meters of gas per day, on August 11 and 12 virtually gas was not supplied, the company said.

Earlier Ukrainian media reported with reference to FGSZ that on August 11, a request for supplying 1,900 cubic meters of gas to Ukraine was made whereas Hungary technically can receive around 16 mln cubic meters of gas per day.
