KIEV, August 14. /TASS/. Electric power supplies from Russia to Ukraine amount to 1,200 MW, the press service of Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo said on Friday.
"Electricity import from Russia amounted to 1,200 MW as of 21.00 pm of August 12," Ukrenergo said.
"Disconnection and emergency shutdown schedules were not used for users" despite the complicated situation in the national economy, Ukrenergo said.
Eighteen power units of thermal power plants with the total capacity of 4.3 MW were idle in Ukraine as of August 13 due to absence of fuel. Furthermore, six power units [with the capacity of 1,022 MW] undergo emergency repair due to equipment faults.
