KIEV, August 6. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects a more active role of US specialists in fight against money laundering in Ukraine.

The president said it as he was meeting with a delegation of the US Congress, led by Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

"The president marked an active position of the Ukrainian authorities towards further de-oligarchization and doing away with corruption, including through a more active involvement of American specialists in fight against money laundering," Poroshenko’s press service said.

It also said much emphasis had been put on attraction and protection of American investment in Ukraine, and participation of US companies in privatization in the country.
