MOSCOW, July 29. /TASS/. Moscow Government signed an agreement with Tele2 mobile communications operator on interaction in the sphere of communication services development in the capital, Head of Moscow Government’s IT Department Artyom Ermolaev and Tele2 General Director Mikhail Noskov said on Wednesday at the signing ceremony.
The agreement stipulates Tele2 will invest funds into development of 3G and 4G networks in the capital in the nearest five years.
Tele 2 is going "to not merely invest considerable funds into development of the network infrastructure but also to support government’s program aimed at development of the economy and the social sphere of the region," Noskov said.
Tele2 is the communications operator set up through the merger of Tele2 mobile operator and mobile communication assets of the state-owned Rostelecom. Tele2 is operating in more than 60 Russian regions with over 35 mln of subscribers.
