S&P raises Greece’s rating to CCC+ with stable outlook

The possibility of Greece leaving the eurozone has declined to less than 50%, says the agency

LONDON, July 21. /TASS/. The international rating agency Standard&Poor's (S&P) raised its long-term sovereign credit rating on Greece to CCC+ from CCC-with a stable outlook, the agency said Tuesday.

"The possibility of Greece leaving the eurozone has declined to less than 50% within our forecast horizon to 2018," the agency’s experts said, adding that the risk of an exit is still high if the Greek government doesn't successfully implement its program on reducing its debt.
