Russia ratifies agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to Eurasian Economic Union

The EAEU was established in May 2014 by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Armenia became a member of the union in January 2015

MOSCOW, July 8. /TASS/. The Russian Federation Council on Wednesday ratified an agreement on the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The agreement was signed in Moscow on December 23, 2014. The republic’s full EAEU membership will be preceded by a transitional period.

The EAEU was established in May 2014 by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Armenia became a member of the union in January 2015.
