KIEV, July 1. /TASS/. Ukraine is ready to continue negotiating gas supplies with Russia "on condition of a justified price and a clear formula for the heating season of 2015-2016," Ukraine’s minister of energy and coal industry Volodymyr Demchishin said on Wednesday.

"Ukraine is ready to proceed with negotiations on gas supplies from Russia. The key element is the justified price and the clear formula throughout the heating season of 2015-2016," Ukrainian minister said.

The Ukrainian side "is open for discussion and looks forward to continuation of the discussion with assistance of European partners in order to achieve a mutually beneficial decision on the gas purchase by Ukraine throughout the next heating season," Demchishin added".

Naftogaz of Ukraine said earlier it suspends procurement of the Russian gas in connection with the expiry of the amendment between Gazprom and Naftogaz on the winter package.
