MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has called nonsense the talk that Moscow is allegedly trying to impose political integration within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The prime minister said at the World Russian Press Congress on Thursday that full-fledged economic integration within EAEU would be accompanied by political integration. "However, our country in this sphere is not going to impose anything on anybody."

He said that a number of foreign media describe the Eurasian Economic Union as a Soviet-style scheme imposed by Russia. "We understand with you that all this is nonsense, it’s impossible, but such stereotypes nevertheless exist," Medvedev said.
