MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. No additional permits are needed to export Russia’s grain to Iran within the framework of "oil for food" programs because Iran is regularly buying fodder grain in Russia, Assistant Head of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) Alexei Alekseenko said on Monday.
"We have supplied about 100,000 tonnes to date. There have been several lots started already in April," Alekseenko said.
"We expect the volume this year will be no less than in the last year," he added.
Russia exported 1.3 mln tonnes of grain to Iran in 2014, according to Rosselkhoznadzor’s data.
