MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. Russia is discussing different options concerning the periods of providing a new gas discount for Ukraine, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday.
"For one quarter or for two quarters - different options are available. Nevertheless, the government needs to discuss this issue," the minister said.
This question is to be discussed at the trilateral meeting of Russia, the EU and Ukraine late in June, Novak said. An agreement providing for guarantees of the natural gas injection to Ukraine’s underground gas storages, he added.
"This document is under examination and should be reviewed late in June," Novak said.
