MOSCOW, June 3. /TASS/. India’s Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd is exploring an opportunity of localizing ready pharmaceutical drugs production in Russia, general director of Glenmark’s division in Russia Glenmark Impex Elena Astakhova said.
"We have such ideas and we are considering such an opportunity in principle. However, no final decision has been made yet," Astakhova said. She did not clarify the timeline and basic parameters of projects.
The company has no local production in Russia for the time being. The annual turnover of Glenmark in Russia is estimated at 2 bln rubles ($37.5 mln). Glenmark owns 14 ready drugs and substances factories in four countries and six research centers.
