Russia and Tunisia sign memorandum on cooperation in nuclear field

MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Russia’s Rosatom have signed a memorandum on cooperation with Tunisia in the nuclear field. The agreement was signed on Monday during ATOMEXPO International Forum on Monday, according to TASS correspondent reporting from the signing ceremony.

The document establishes legal framework for cooperation between the two countries in the field of peaceful application of atomic energy.

The two sides plan to jointly develop atomic energy infrastructure in Tunisia. Also, the plan is to construct reactors, including research reactor facilities, in Tunisia.
