Around 40 states eager to hold talks on free trade zone with EAEU — Russian PM Medvedev

Prime Minister also said the Agreement on creating a free trade zone with Vietnam signed on Friday is "very important and marking a milestone"

BURABAY /KAZAKHSTAN/, May 29. /TASS/. Around 40 states are eager to hold talks on free trade zone with the EAEU, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Friday.

"Around 40 states have opted for holding talks on concluding this kind of agreements [on free trade zone with EAEU], and of course we will be taking this as thoughtfully as possible so that those agreements are useful to our countries," Medvedev said.

Prime Minister said the Agreement on creating a free trade zone with Vietnam signed on Friday is "very important and marking a milestone," adding that the talks had been rather protracted.

"I’m confident it [the Agreement] will deliver benefits to our countries’ economies and finally to the peoples of those countries," Medvedev said.
